WATCH: Candidates field questions ahead of local election

The ballot drop box at Don D. Statter Harbor is one of a few places voters in Juneau can cast their ballots, which were mailed on Tuesday. There is also a drop box at the Douglas Public Library/ Fire Station. Additionally, there will be vote centers at City Hall and the Mendenhall Valley Public Library and voters can mail their ballots via the U.S. Postal Service. Candidates for the City and Borough of Juneau Assembly and Juneau School District Board of Education will field questions during a forum tonight ahead of the Oct. 4 municipal election.

This year, the forum is held by the League of Women Voters of Juneau in cooperation with the Empire, KTOO and KINY. It starts at 7 p.m.
