Treadwell Arena adds new weekly events

Treadwell Arena is adding additional events to its weekly schedule, City and Borough of Juneau announced.

In addition to a weekly free skate 3-4 p.m. on Fridays, there will be an open skate 10:45-11:45 a.m. on Wednesdays and hockey 1:15-2:15 p.m. on Fridays, the city said in a news release. Reservations are required and open at noon on Mondays, according to the city. Admission for the open skate and hockey events costs $5.

There is a maximum capacity of 20 people on the ice, according to the city, and the arena’s maximum capacity is 50. Masks and social distancing are required.
