Jojo Griggs is the Juneau Empire’s player of the week.

Griggs, a junior at Juneau-Douglas High School: Yadaat.at Kalé, led the Crimson Bears with 19 kills over the final two matches of the Region V 4A tournament, including six in the 30-24 tiebreaker finale. Griggs was coming off injury and didn’t play for several weeks leading up to the tournament. Her and teammate Addie Prussing were both named to the Southeast All-Conference team after the match.
