Perseverance Trail access will be intermittently blocked Tuesday and Wednesday.

The City and Borough of Juneau’s park maintenance department will clean up the trail’s ditches and drainages from both trailheads on Basin Road. Heavy equipment will be used for the job, which will focus on the section between both trailheads and the metal fence (before the first major incline). The work is weather dependent and slated to take place 8 a.m.-3 p.m. each day.

Basin Road access will remain open for about another month.
