Player of the Week: Greyson Liebelt

Greyson Liebelt is the Juneau Empire’s player of the week.
Liebelt, a senior on Juneau-Douglas High School’s hockey team, recorded one goal and three assists in a weekend sweep of Homer. The Crimson Bears defeated the Mariners 4-3 on Friday and 7-3 on Saturday, extending their home winning streak to six games.
JDHS plays in the ASAA First National Cup Division II state championships beginning next Thursday.
The JDHS junior varsity plays against Tri Valley this Friday and Saturday at Treadwell Arena. Puck drop is 8 p.m. on Friday and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
