Penguins and Antarctica will be the focus of a Thursday night Juneau Audubon Society lecture.

Antarctica at Solstice is the title of a presentation planned for 7-8 p.m., Jan. 10 at UAS Egan Lecture Hall, Room 112, 11120 Glacier Highway.

The lecture will focus on a recent visit to Antarctica by Jack Kreinheder and his wife. They saw four species of penguins and other amazing sights.

The event is free and open to the public.
