CCFR prepares for aircraft rescue training

Members of Capital City Fire/Rescue will review aircraft rescue fire fighting procedures during a training session next week.

The weeklong training begins March 31 at the CCFR Regional Training Center on Sherwood Lane. Other training dates are April 4 and 5.

The training is a federal requirement for the department to maintain airport operations.

Passersby may observe smoke in the surrounding area during the training. For questions or concerns about the training, contact CCFR at 586-5322.
