Attempt to Serve

At 9:34 p.m. on Friday, 32-year-old Derrick Esguerra was arrested on Calhoun Avenue on two $1,500 warrants for failure to appear on an original charge of fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance. He also was charged with two counts of violating conditions of release. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

At 11:34 p.m. on Friday, 57-year-old Lance Christian Cesar was arrested on Shell Simmons Drive on three $50 warrants for failure to appear.

Drug Activity

At 12:10 p.m. on Friday, the Juneau Police Department created a case for destruction.

Follow Up

At 3:42 p.m. on Friday, 45-year-old James Newman was arrested on Shell Simmons Drive on a $500 warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of assault. He was taken to LCCC.

Found Property

At 2:32 p.m. on Friday, baseball gear found on Aspen Avenue was turned in to JPD and placed in safekeeping.

Out With Subject or Situation

At 7:50 p.m. on Friday, 38-year-old Judson David Morgan was arrested on Glacier Highway on four $250 warrants for failure to appear. Alcohol was a factor.

Shoplifting

At 4:10 p.m. on Friday, 34-year-old Shauna Velasco was cited and released for larceny on Commercial Boulevard.
