Assault

At 2 a.m. on Wednesday, a 20-year-old female reported being assaulted by an 18-year-old male on Egan Drive. Alcohol and domestic violence were factors.

Child Abuse or Neglect

At 10:39 a.m. on Wednesday, the Juneau Police Department began a confidential investigation into possible child abuse.

Death Investigation

At 11:22 a.m. on Wednesday, JPD began an investigation into the death of a 90-year-old male. The circumstances do not appear to be suspicious and next of kin has been notified.

Out With Subject or Situation

At 4:23 a.m. on Wednesday, 25-year-old Dylan Fears was cited and released on Cinema Drive for trespassing.

Traffic Stop

At 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, JPD conducted an investigation into a 26-year-old male driving without a license on Mendenhall Loop Road.

Trespassing

At 2:34 a.m. on Wednesday, 53-year-old Trent Stewart was cited and released on Shell Simmons Drive for trespassing and violating conditions of release. Alcohol was a factor.

At 8:01 a.m. on Wednesday, 31-year-old Monte Nix was cited and released on Egan Drive for criminal trespass and violating conditions of release.

Vandalism or Graffiti

At 2:39 p.m. on Wednesday, JPD responded to a report of vandalism on Mendenhall Loop Road.
