The warrant was issued on June 14 after a grand jury indicted him on the 17 counts, including four counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a minor, eight counts of second-degree sexual abuse of a minor, four counts of third-degree sexual abuse of a minor and one count of first-degree sexual assault.

Kurtzman was arraigned in Superior Court on Friday at the Juneau Courthouse. A representation hearing is scheduled July 8.
