LONG FALLS

Up the Fjord,

stretching out

to the jagged cliffs.

I wonder if it recognizes

the edges

it soothes and softens

as it laps

against the rocks

where harbor seals laze.

I, too, have edges,

longing to be soothed

and softened

by the pure

and pristine waters

of Long Falls.
