During every transaction, Super Bear IGA and Foodland IGA cashiers are asking customers if they would like to round up their change for charity.

The customers at Foodland and Super Bear have “rounded up” to donate over $3,100 to Juneau Animal Rescue during the month of February.

“ This is very helpful” said Shane Walker Deputy Director of Juneau Animal Rescue, in a statement shared with the Empire. “Our customers are very generous and care deeply about our community” says Super Bear manager Kelly Crow.

People can still purchase JAR T-shirts and sweatshirts that 100% benefit Animal Rescue at both stores.
