ADF&G opens fishing and hunting workshops

Five fishing and hunting workshops put on by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game are now open for registration. Two of the workshops, Step Into Shotgun and Waterfowl Hunting, are part of the Alaskans Afield series. Three of the workshops — Advanced Fly Tying, Upland Bird Hunting and Psyched about Silvers — are open to everyone as part of the Beyond Becoming an Outdoors-Woman series.

Registration for the Alaskans Afield workshops is online at alaskansafield.adfg.alaska.gov. Registration forms for BOW courses are at bow.adfg.alaska.gov and need to be faxed or emailed to Abby Lowell at abby.lowell@alaska.gov (click on the ‘schedule’ tab).

Everyone who registers will be contacted with further workshop details (some locations subject to change).
