Year Of Kindness wrapup party

The Year Of Kindness, a Juneau Police Department initiative also know as 17YOK, will wrap up with a community party on Sunday, Dec. 31 from 1-5 p.m. at Thunder Mountain High School.

Dance group Yees Ku Oowill perform at 2 p.m., the Pride Chorus will perform at 3 p.m., and the chair of the group taking over for a 2018 Year of Kindness will speak at 4 p.m. People nominated as the Kindest Person in Juneau will be honored throughout the afternoon.

There will also be a slideshow of all the Kindness Alerts put out by JPD throughout the year. Popcorn and cider will be available. During the event, you can sign a banner to commit to a lifestyle of kindness.
