Burglary

• At 8:24 a.m. Thursday, the Juneau Police Department responded to the 200 block of Front Street to investigate the report of an attempted burglary at a downtown business. Investigation continues.

• At 9:01 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 200 block of Front Street to investigate the report of burglary at a downtown business. Investigation continues.

• At 9:09 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 6500 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of larceny from a building in Switzer Park. Investigation continues.

Child abuse/neglect

• At 5:38 p.m. Wednesday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into child abuse in the Juneau area.

Disorderly conduct

• At 8:59 p.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested Chris King, 26, in the 200 block of Franklin Street for disorderly conduct and harassment. King was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held on $200 bail.

Domestic violence

• At 11:47 a.m. Thursday, JPD investigated a domestic violence assault in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.

Drug misconduct

• At 3:09 p.m. Wednesday, JPD took a boy, 17, to the Juneau Youth Center for possession of marijuana on school grounds in the 1600 block of Glacier Avenue.

Fraud

• At 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 200 block of Franklin Street to investigate the report of a woman who said fraudulent charges on her debit card account had occurred earlier in April.

Theft

• At 10:52 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 3200 block of Hospital Drive to investigate the report of a theft that might have happened at Bartlett Regional Hospital. Investigation continues.

Trespassing

• At 7:32 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue to investigate the report of a man, 34, who said a man entered a business after being served a criminal trespass letter.

Vandalism

• At 3:53 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the report of vandalism in the 5900 block of Churchill Way.

Wildlife violation

• On Wednesday, Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Juneau Post, issued Juneau man Cameron Smith, 23, a citation for failing to return his 2016 GMU Unit 4 brown bear registration permit to the Alaska Department of Fish &Game. The permit hunt conditions require that it be returned to ADF&G. Smith was given a $110 fine for the offense, out of the Juneau District Court.

• On Thursday, Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Juneau Post, issued Sitka man Russell Snell, 59, a citation for not having a crewmember license in his possession. Troopers spoke with Snell, who was acting as a crewmember on board a fishing vessel. Troopers found that Snell did not have a crewmember license of CFEC permit card, and he was issued a $260 citation in the Juneau District Court.
