Police calls for Monday, June 16, 2025

For Monday, June 16

Domestic Dispute

At 11:18 p.m. on Monday, Michael Brandon Smith was arrested on Pinewood Drive for fear assault and criminal mischief domestic violence. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Harassment

At 7:40 p.m. on Monday, a 38-year-old female reported a harassment on Mendenhall Mall Road.

Not a Capital City Fire/Rescue Call

At 1:30 p.m. on Monday, the Juneau Police Department investigated the death of a 43-year-old male on Taku Boulevard. Next of kin has been notified.

Sex Crime

At 2:04 p.m. on Monday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into a possible sexual abuse of a minor.

Shots Fired

At 2:28 p.m. on Monday, JPD responded to shots being fired in the area near Ninemile Creek Road and contacted a 22-year-old male and a 39-year-old male.

Theft

At 2:48 p.m. on Monday, a 55-year-old male reported a stolen vehicle on Cinema Drive.

At 4:14 p.m. on Monday, a 72-year-old female reported her purse stolen on Glacier Highway.

At 9:41 p.m. on Monday, a 52-year-old female reported an in-progress theft of mail on Cascade Street.

For Tuesday, June 17

Trespassing

At 4:37 a.m. on Tuesday, Kathleen Rae Smith was arrested on Hospital Drive for criminal trespass and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

At 7:51 p.m. on Tuesday, Jennifer McAllister was arrested on Glacier Highway for trespass and violating conditions of release and taken to LCCC.

Domestic Dispute

At 10:37 p.m. on Tuesday, Raymond Evenson was arrested on Glacier Highway for assault in the second degree and assualt in the fourth degree and taken to LCCC.

Out with Subject or Situation

At 11:14 p.m. on Tuesday, Nathan Nichols was arrested on Jordan Avenue on $400 in warrants for failure to appear with the original charge of driving without a license, driving with license revoked and trespass.
