Police arrest 2 in Anchorage home invasion, shooting

ANCHORAGE — A 32-year-old man wanted on a felony drug warrant was charged with robbery, assault and burglary Wednesday in the invasion of an east Anchorage apartment.

Police say Ryan Fisher fired a shot that seriously wounded a man. Police also arrested an 18-year-old.

Police say Fisher shortly before 4:30 a.m. pointed a gun at a man leaving an apartment and said he wanted property back. The man fled.

Police say Fisher and the younger man broke into the apartment. They asked a second man for Fisher’s property and in a struggle over the gun, the weapon fired and hit the other man.

The suspects fled without taking anything. Police found them sleeping in a vehicle parked less than a block away.

Online court documents did not list attorneys for the suspects.
