Carson now eligible for Republican primary

Dr. Ben Carson, a neurosurgeon-turned-presidential candidate, is now eligible for the Republican presidential primary, the Republican Party of Alaska announced Wednesday.

Carson is the third candidate to become eligible for the Republican preference poll, which will take place on March 1.
