Farm-raised food

October is National Farm to School Month, and the Division of Agriculture is encouraging organizations to sign on as partners.

Outreach partners help spread the message that farm to school benefits kids, farmers and communities in every corner of the country, according to a newsletter from the division. Throughout October, National Farm to School Network sends weekly toolkits with social media copy and messaging ideas. They also offer outreach partners the option to be listed on the division’s Farm to School Month webpage, which had more than 44,000 unique visitors last October. To sign up to be an Outreach Partner go to: http://www.farmtoschool.org/month-partner-signup
