Two arrested at airport after cops find over $22K of drugs

Members of an anti-drug task force arrested two travelers at Juneau International Airport on Tuesday evening for possession of drugs as they traveled from Seattle.

Dustin West Daly, 37 and Stephanie Amanda Seminara, 29, were arrested by members of the Southeast Alaska Cities Against Drugs task force, according to Juneau Police Department.

Officers investigating the two found 57.78 grams of heroin, 16.71 grams of Oxycodone pills, 1.43 grams of methamphetamine, 60 Suboxone strips, five Xanax pills and 8 grams of powdered fentanyl in their luggage, according to JPD. The seized drugs have an estimated street value of $22,150.

Daly was charged with two counts of felony second-degree misconduct involving controlled substances and one count of felony fourth-degree misconduct involving controlled substances, according to JPD. Seminara was charged with one count of felony fourth-degree misconduct involving controlled substances and two counts of fifth-degree misconduct involving controlled substances, a misdemeanor.

Both were taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
