Police calls for Tuesday, April 12

Assault

At 5:22 p.m. on Friday, police received a report of a 12-year-old girl being assaulted in the 1600 block of Renninger Street.

At 6:05 p.m. on Friday, a 34-year-old man was arrested on charges of two counts of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and one count of third-degree assault (domestic violence). He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Damaged property

At 11:48 p.m. on Friday, Juneau Police Department responded to a report of multiple damaged mailboxes on Meadow Lane.

Driving while intoxicated

At 11:06 p.m. on Friday, 45-year-old Michael Wayne Elmore was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.

Sex crime

At 1:46 p.m. on Friday, JPD investigated the possible sexual abuse of a minor.

Shoplift

At 12:11 a.m. on Friday, JPD responded to a report of shoplifting at a local business in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive.
