Child abuse/neglect

At 4:35 p.m. on Tuesday, Juneau Police Department investigated a report of child abuse.

Death

At 1:06 p.m. on Tuesday, JPD investigated a death on the 5800 block of Glacier Highway. The details are not yet released as the next of kin has not been notified.

At 7:24 a.m. on Wednesday, JPD investigated the death of a 31-year-old man on the 2400 block of Douglas Highway. The death is not considered suspicious and next of kin has been notified.

Theft

At 9:27 a.m. on Wednesday, a 39-year-old man reported a 2004 Jeep stolen from the 1800 block of Shell Simmons Drive.

Traffic stop

At 8:06 p.m. on Tuesday, 33-year-old Corwin Vavalis was cited and released for driving with license revoked on the 600 block of Willoughby Drive. The vehicle was released to a licensed driver.

Warrant arrest

At 2:14 p.m. on Tuesday, 31-year-old Michael Aaron Brigaloff was arrested on an Alaska State Troopers warrant on the 8700 block of Teal Street and taken to LCCC.
