With the future of the Alaska Marine Highway System in tumult, Alaska Marine Lines will be making an additional barge trip to Hoonah in late February, according to an AML spokesperson.

The barge will depart Seattle on Feb. 19, and Juneau on Feb. 25, Ryan Dixon said in a press release. It is unclear if the barge will be stopping at any other destinations.

Those interested in sending cargo should contact AML at www.shipaml.com or call 1-800-326-8346 for more information.
