Call for proposals on migratory bird subsistence harvest

The annual period to submit proposals to change migratory bird subsistence harvest regulations for the 2018 April-August season opened Nov. 1 and extends through Dec. 15.

Petitions will also be accepted during this open period to request a change to “included/excluded” community status for the 2018 harvest season.

All proposals and petitions received to change 2018 harvest regulations will be reviewed and acted on by the Alaska Migratory Bird Co-Management Council at their April 2017 meeting.
