KETCHIKAN — Alaska State Troopers have identified a person suspected of passing a $50 counterfeit bill at a Ketchikan business.

Troopers on Wednesday took a call saying a customer had used the bogus $50 bill early that morning.

A person at the business reported the suspect returned that afternoon.

Troopers say a search of the suspect’s home found copies of forged currency and a printer and scanner used to make it.

No arrest has been made.
