Anchorage police release identity of man found dead in creek

ANCHORAGE — Anchorage police have released the identity of a man found dead May 18 on a mud island in Ship Creek.

Police say the man was 45-year-old Dennis Haroldsen.

Investigators found no immediate signs of foul play.

Ship Creek flows through an industrial area and into downtown Anchorage.
