Public meeting on Juneau All-Hazard Mitigation Plan

The Juneau Emergency Planning Committee will begin revising its comprehensive local hazard plan with a public meeting at 12 p.m. Feb. 8 in the JAMHI conference room at 3406 Glacier Highway.

The committee is requesting review and input from other agencies, businesses, civic and environmental groups to assist them in creating a more disaster-resilient community.

Emergency Manager Tom Mattice will give an overview of the existing All-Hazards Mitigation Plan and update attendees on the revision process. For more information, call the Emergency Programs Office at 586-0371.
