Attempt to Serve

At 2:19 p.m. on Saturday, 34-year-old Aaron Thate was arrested on Glacier Highway on a no-bail warrant on original charges of second-degree burglary, second-degree attempted burglary, third-degree theft and fourth-degree assault.

Death Investigation

At 12:43 p.m. on Saturday, the Juneau Police Department began an investigation into the death of an 81-year-old male. Next of kin has been notified and the circumstances are not considered suspicious.

Motor Vehicle Collision Without Injury

At 3:57 a.m. on Saturday, snow removal equipment struck a parked vehicle on Bradley Street. The owner of the vehicle was notified.

At 6:42 p.m. on Saturday, a 51-year-old male reported a hit-and-run collision on Egan Drive.

Police Assist

At 6:50 p.m. on Saturday, 40-year-old Russell Bullock was arrested on Mendenhall Boulevard on an outstanding $100 JPD warrant. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Tobacco, Marijuana or Vaping Violation

At 7:25 p.m. on Saturday, JPD created a case on Shell Simmons Drive to document a smoking violation reported on a plane.

Traffic Stop

At 12:58 a.m. on Saturday, 46-year-old Jason Handorf was arrested for driving while intoxicated and refusal. He was taken to LCCC and the vehicle he was driving was impounded.

At 12:14 p.m. on Saturday, 32-year-old Ashley Reeves was arrested on Kiowa Drive on a no-bail warrant for failure to report to LCCC. She was taken to LCCC.

At 10:26 p.m. on Saturday, 38-year-old Johnathon Elmalih was cited and released on Glacier Highway for driving with a revoked license.

Trespassing

At 5:40 p.m. on Saturday, a case was created to document trespassing by a 34-year-old female on Amalga Street.
