For Thursday, July 31

Disturbance

On Thursday at 4:47 p.m., 42-year-old Malcom Tullis was arrested at Sealaska Plaza for harassment.

Warrant Arrest

On Thursday at 10:55 p.m., 64-year-old Thomas Bell was arrested on Front Street on an outstanding $250 Juneau Alaska State Troopers warrant and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Arrest

On Thursday at 11:17 p.m., 39-year-old Christopher Waterhouse was cited on Vintage Boulevard for larceny and released.

For Friday, Aug. 1

Reckless Driving Report

On Friday at 12:02 a.m., a report was received about a vehicle driving recklessly in a parking lot on Teal Street.

Camping Complaint

On Friday at 8:16 a.m., 62-year-old Mark Albrecht was arrested on the Glacier Highway for harassment and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Death Investigation

On Friday at 4:25 p.m., investigation began into the death of a 70-year-old man. It isn’t considered suspicious, and next of kin hasn’t been notified.

Vandalism or Graffiti

On Monday at about 11:30 p.m., investigation began into a reported vandalism at a local business on Glacier Avenue.

For Saturday, Aug. 2

Fraud, Forgery, Counterfeit, Non-Sufficient Funds

On Saturday at 2:23 p.m., a 49-year-old man reported a fraud.

Motor Vehicle Collision Without Injury

On Saturday at 3:23 p.m., a 45-year-old man reported a hit-and-run on Franklin Street.

Driving While Intoxicated

On Saturday at 10:16 p.m., a 50-year-old was arrested for driving under the influence, driving without a license, and three counts of violating conditions of release and was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. The vehicle was impounded.

For Sunday, Aug. 3

Disturbance

On Sunday at about 2:20 a.m.., Juneau Police Department responded to a report of an assault. One person was taken to the hospital.

Trespassing

On Sunday at 8:02 a.m., a 35-year-old man was cited for criminal trespass on Vintage Boulevard and released.

Search and Rescue

On Sunday at about 3:00 p.m., Alaska Wildlife Troopers were notified of two stranded hikers near Boy Scout Beach Trail in Juneau. The hikers were stranded on the beach along a steep cliff and were unable to return to the trailhead. Wildlife Troopers responded aboard the P/V Sentinel and rescued both adult hikers. They declined medical care and were taken to Auke Bay Harbor.

For Tuesday, Aug. 5

Traffic Stop

On Tuesday at 11:05 p.m., on 3rd Street, 25-year-old Gomez Guzman was arrested for driving while intoxicated and driving without a license and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Trespassing

On Tuesday at 11:12 p.m., on Vintage Boulevard, 39-year-old Johanna Cropley was cited for trespass and released.

For Wednesday, Aug. 6

Traffic Stop

On Wednesday at 2:21 a.m., on Egan Drive, 52-year-old Dustin Jacobsen was arrested on a $500 warrant to revoke probation on the original charge of third-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Arrest

On Wednesday at about 10:10 a.m., 35-year-old Brian Lauth was arrested on Willoughby Avenue on a no bail warrant to answer to the charge of driving under the influence and was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
