Driving under the influence

At 12:17 a.m. on Thursday, Alfred Torres Jr. was arrested for driving under the influence and driving with a suspended/revoked license on Vintage Boulevard. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Arrested on warrant

At 1:26 a.m. on Thursday, Kenneth Johnson was arrested on Trout Street on a $1,000 warrant for criminal mischief. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Report of theft

At 4:03 a.m. on Thursday, a 31-year-old man reported a theft.

Shoplifting

At 5:01 p.m. on Thursday, there was a report of shoplifting from a business on Willoughby Avenue.

Assault

At 10:20 p.m. on Thursday, a 47-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence assault and violating the conditions of his release. He was taken to Lemond Creek Correctional Center.

For Friday, July 11

Vehicle collision

At 10:02 a.m. on Friday, Juneau Police Department investigated a minor accident on Harbor Way with two vehicles belonging to the City and Borough of Juneau. There were no injuries.

Trespassing

At 1:07 p.m. on Friday, Anton K.M. Mach was cited and released for trespassing and violating the conditions of his release on Mendenhall Mall Road.

Death

At 1:48 p.m. on Friday, Juneau Polce Department investigated the death of a 49-year-old woman. Next of kin have been notified.

Burglary

At 2:48 p.m. on Friday, an 86-year-old woman reported a burglary at a residence on Glacier Highway.

Hit-and-run

At 3:16 p.m. on Friday, a 29-year-old woman reported a hit-and-run. There were no injuries.

Arrested on warrant

At 9:28 p.m. on Friday, Kelepi Maka was arrested on Auroa Drive on a $2,500 warrant for third-degree assault. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Theft

At 10:39 p.m. on Friday, a 37-year-old man reported that his wood splitter was stolen on Sherwood Lane.

Theft

At 12:59 a.m. on Friday, a 48-year-old man reported a theft from a business on Trout Street.

Driving while intoxicated

At 1:40 a.m. on Friday, Juan Garcia Trejo was arrested for driving while intoxicated. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Vandalism

At 2:12 a.m. on Friday, an officer reported witnessing vandalism on Glacier Highway.

Assault

At 3:09 a.m. on Friday, Juneau Police Department investigatred a reported assault on Front Street.

Theft

At 8:59 a.m. on Friday, a 57-year-old female reported theft and fraud on Vintage Boulevard.
