Attempt to Serve

At 1:35 p.m. on Tuesday, 35-year-old Aaron Thate was arrested on Glacier Highway on a $25 warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Death Investigation

At 5:58 a.m. on Tuesday, the Juneau Police Department began an investigation into the death of a 31-year-old male. The circumstances do not appear to be suspicious and next of kin has been notified.

Domestic Dispute

At 10:33 p.m. on Tuesday, JPD created a case for documentation on Mendenhall Mall Road.

Motor Vehicle Collision Without Injury

At 9:25 a.m. on Tuesday, a 2018 Ford Explorer driven by a 56-year-old female struck a parked Ford F350 on Gastineau Avenue.

At 3:22 p.m. on Tuesday, a 2009 Chevrolet Van driven by a 60-year-old male struck a parked Toyota pickup on D Street.

At 4:21 p.m. on Tuesday, a 51-year-old female reported a hit-and-run accident on Egan Drive.

Shots fired

At 10 p.m. on Tuesday, 44-year-old Collin Pilcher was arrested on Glacier Highway for misconduct involving a weapon. He was taken to LCCC.

Trespassing

At 3:58 a.m. on Tuesday, 33-year-old Kier Vergara was arrested on Trout Street on a $50 warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of trespassing. He was also charged with trespassing and violating conditions of release.

At 3:40 p.m. on Tuesday, a 47-year-old male reported a trespassing issue on Columbia Boulevard.

At 6:31 p.m. on Tuesday, 29-year-old Wayne Nelson was arrested on Columbia Boulevard on $350 in warrants on a petition to revoke probation, and violating conditions of release on original charges of burglary and trespassing. He was also charged with violating conditions of release.
