Assault

At 5:25 p.m. on Thursday, the Alaska State Troopers reported a domestic violence investigation in Kake resulted in the arrest of Michael Bruse on charges of second-degree assault and fourth-degree assault causing physical injury to a household member. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Disturbance

At 10:59 p.m. on Thursday, 27-year-old Adrienne Audet was arrested on Stephen Richards Memorial Drive for violating conditions of release. Alcohol and domestic violence were factors.

Found Property

At 2:56 p.m. on Thursday, found controlled substances were seized by JPD for destruction.

Police Assist

At 1:27 a.m. on Thursday, 65-year-old Marvin Holmes was arrested on Shell Simmons Drive on a $500 AST warrant on original charges of second-degree theft and third-degree theft. He was taken to LCCC.

Sex Crime

At 9:49 a.m. on Thursday, JPD began a confidential investigation into reported child abuse.
