Abandoned Vehicle

At 2:50 p.m. on Monday, a white Nissan Leaf in front of a bus stop was impounded on Glacier Highway.

Attempt to Serve

At 11:47 p.m. on Monday, 42-year-old Nathan Nichols was arrested on three warrants totaling $1,000 for failure to appear on original charges of driving without a license and trespassing. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Death Investigation

At 12:39 a.m. on Monday, the Juneau Police Department began an investigation into the death of a 32-year-old male. Next of kin has been notified.

Traffic Complaint

At 1:22 p.m. on Monday, 52-year-old Jonathan Smith was cited and released on F Street for driving while license suspended or revoked.

Traffic Stop

At 11:08 p.m. on Monday, JPD began an investigation into a subject who failed to stop at the direction of an officer and eluding. The vehicle was impounded.
