Burglary

At 8:02 a.m. on Saturday, a 71-year-old female reported a burglary at a business on Mendenhall Mall Road. Alcohol was a factor.

Death Investigation

At 4:07 a.m. on Saturday, the Juneau Police Department began an investigation into the death of a 52-year-old male. The death is not considered suspicious and next of kin has been notified.

Motor Vehicle Collision Without Injury

At 3:19 p.m. on Saturday, JPD responded to a traffic accident on Riverside Drive involving a Nissan Murano and a Ford truck.

Out With Subject or Situation

At 12:05 p.m. on Saturday, 46-year-old Jesse Swanson was arrested on Channel Drive on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of larceny.

Sex Crime

At 4:27 p.m. on Saturday, JPD responded to Bartlett Regional Hospital due to a 21-year-old female reporting a sexual assault.

At 9:35 p.m. on Saturday, JPD initiated a confidential report of child abuse.

Trespassing

At 11:07 p.m. on Saturday, 41-year-old Justin Ridinger was arrested on Trout Street on a $50 JPD warrant and an additional trespassing charge. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
