Assault

At 1:07 a.m. on Tuesday, a 39-year-old Juneau woman reported she had been shot, possibly with an airsoft gun, outside a residence in the 5300 block of Commercial Boulevard. Juneau Police Department and Capital City Fire/Rescue officials responded to the scene, where the woman was found with injuries to her upper arm and her torso consistent with round pellets from a high powered airsoft gun. She was transported by ambulance and treated for her injuries at Bartlett Regional Hospital. She was released from the hospital a few hours later.

Burglary

At 9:23 a.m. on Tuesday, a 57-year-old male reported a burglary of a business on Glacier Highway.

Domestic Dispute

At 12:45 a.m. on Tuesday, 42-year-old Jacob James was arrested on 3rd Street on a no-bail warrant for violating conditions of release on original charges of second-degree assault, third-degree assault and fourth-degree assault. He was also charged with harassment. Alcohol and domestic violence were factors.

Motor Vehicle Collision Without Injury

At 3:46 p.m. on Tuesday, a Dodge Durango driven by a 30-year-old male was involved in a single-vehicle collision on Grant Street. The vehicle was impounded for safekeeping.

At 8:11 p.m. on Tuesday, JPD initiated an investigation into a reported hit-and-run involving a green Subaru striking a light pole and leaving the scene on Glacier Highway.

Traffic Stop

At 7:16 a.m. on Tuesday, 55-year-old Richard Scott Carle was cited and released on Kiowa Drive for driving while licensed revoked.

At 11:59 a.m. on Tuesday, 55-year-old Rochelle Sabadin was cited and released for driving without a license on Cinema Drive.
