Attempt to Serve

At 2:44 p.m. on Thursday, 38-year-old Emery Pecson was arrested on Postal Way on six Juneau Police Department warrants for failure to appear. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Death Investigation

At 5:33 p.m. on Thursday, JPD began an investigation into the death of a 70-year-old male. The death is not considered suspicious and next of kin has been notified.

Disturbance

At 8:10 p.m. on Thursday, a 51-year-old male reported he was assaulted by a 45-year-old male on Teal Street. Alcohol was a factor.

Found Property

At 8:17 a.m. on Thursday, miscellaneous property found on Alaway Avenue was turned in to JPD for safekeeping.

Harassment

At 4:37 p.m. on Thursday, JPD created a case for documentation.

Out With Subject or Situation

At 4:40 a.m. on Thursday, 25-year-old Louis Elmer Whittaker was arrested on Main Street on two $50 warrants for failure to appear on original charges of trespassing, disorderly conduct and violating conditions of release. He was taken to LCCC.

Police Assist

At 4:52 p.m. on Thursday, JPD assisted pre-trial officers with a reprimand on Hospital Drive.

Parking Complaint

At 7:52 a.m. on Thursday, JPD relocated a grey Subaru Forester that was parked in a no-parking zone on 3rd Street.

At 8:26 a.m. on Thursday, JPD relocated a white Dodge Ram pickup truck that was parked in a construction zone on 3rd Street.

Vandalism or Graffiti

At 12:01 a.m. on Thursday, a 38-year-old male reported somebody spray painted both of his vehicles on Dogwood Lane.
