Assault

At 10:33 p.m. on Tuesday, a 42-year-old male reported he was assaulted by a 45-year-old male on Franklin Street. Alcohol was a factor.

Burglary

At 9:33 a.m on Tuesday, a 47-year-old male reported a burglary at a business on Clinton Drive.

Motor Vehicle Collision Without Injury

At 8:02 p.m. on Tuesday, the Juneau Police Department created a case to document a collision involving a city vehicle on Riverside Drive.

Out With Subject or Situation

At 12:05 a.m. on Tuesday, 38-year-old Matthew Richey was arrested for trespass and resisting on Eastaugh Way. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

At 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday, JPD officers on patrol discovered a business on Glacier Highway that appeared to have been broken into.

Police Assist

At 7:58 a.m. on Tuesday, JPD began an investigation into the death of a 72-year-old male on Glacier Highway. The death is not considered suspicious and next of kin has been notified.

Theft

At 4:32 a.m. on Tuesday, a 70-year-old reported the theft of a newspaper dispenser on Teal Street.

At 10:06 a.m. on Tuesday, a 50-year-old female reported gas siphoned from her vehicle on Cinema Drive.

At 12:17 p.m. on Tuesday, 26-year-old Johnnie Johnson was arrested on Vintage Boulevard for vehicle theft and violating conditions of release, and 35-year-old Laurlalee Peters was arrested for unlawful contact. Both were taken to LCCC. Domestic violence was a factor.
