Assault

At 6:35 a.m. on Tuesday, the Juneau Police Department conducted an investigation involving an assault between a 41-year-old male and 32-year-old male on Glacier Highway.

Death Investigation

At 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday, an investigation began into the death of a 76-year-old female that is not considered suspicious. Next of kin has not been notified.

Domestic Dispute

At 4:24 p.m. on Tuesday, 66-year-old Young Shimabukuro was arrested for domestic violence assault and violating conditions of release on Kiowa Drive. She was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

At 9:59 p.m. on Tuesday, a 32-year-old male reported a 43-year-old male assaulted him on Garnet Street. Domestic violence was a factor.

Lost Property

At 12:22 p.m. on Tuesday, a 45-year-old male reported lost or stolen packages on Mendenhall Peninsula Road.

Out with Subject or Situation

At 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday, 42-year-old Austin Lee Davis was arrested on three $25 JPD warrants on Glacier Highway. He was taken to LCCC.

Shoplifting

At 8:01 p.m. on Tuesday, a report was received about a 46-year-old male shoplifting from a business on Franklin Street.

Theft

At 3:44 p.m. on Tuesday, JPD received a report of multiple stolen items on Willoughby Avenue.

Traffic Stop

At 3:19 p.m. on Tuesday, 49-year-old Knute Felipe was cited and released for driving without a license at Egan Drive and Whittier Street.

Vandalism or Graffiti

At 4:50 p.m. on Tuesday, a 53-year-old male reported vandalism to a vehicle on Glacier Highway.
