Assault

At 4:13 p.m. on Wednesday, the Juneau Police Department began an investigation into a report of a possible assault on Franklin Street.

At 8:27 p.m. on Wednesday, JPD began an investigation into a report of a possible assault on Franklin Street. Alcohol was a factor.

Death Investigation

At 12:48 a.m. on Wednesday, JPD began an investigation into the death of a 52-year-old man. His death is not considered suspicious and next of kin have been notified.

Motor Vehicle Collision

At 4:33 p.m. on Wednesday, JPD responded to a two-vehicle accident involving a 41-year-old woman who was cited for running a red light on Egan Drive.

Theft

At 12:55 p.m. on Wednesday, a woman reported shoplifting from a business on Willoughby Avenue.

At 9:11 p.m. on Wednesday, JPD began an investigation into a reported shoplift on Glacier Highway.

Trespass

At 10:38 a.m. on Wednesday, 24-year-old Jasmine Long and 27-year-old Charles-Daniel Willis were cited and released on Cinema Drive for criminal trespass.

At 12:44 p.m. on Wednesday, 43-year-old Philip Liantonio was cited and released on Teal Street for criminal trespass.

Warrant Arrest

At 12:58 p.m. on Wednesday, 41-year-old Michael Dodd was arrested on Aisek Street on a North Carolina warrant for felon possessing a firearm. He was taken to LCCC.

At 3:49 p.m. on Wednesday, 35-year-old Timothy Meachem was arrested on Cinema Drive on a $5,000 warrant on an original charge of third-degree assault and violating conditions of release for a felony. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Welfare Check

At 7:32 p.m. on Wednesday, JPD responded to a request for a welfare check on Franklin Street.
