Assault

At 12:32 p.m. on Friday, the Juneau Police Department began an investigation into a confidential report of sexual assault.

At 3:58 p.m. on Friday, JPD responded to a report of an assault on Renninger Street.

Agency Assist

At 3:19 a.m. on Friday, JPD assisted another agency on Glacier Highway. A case was created for documentation.

Found Property

At 3:40 p.m. on Friday, a case was created for safekeeping on Gastineau Avenue.

Theft

At 1:55 p.m. on Friday, 69-year-old Phillip Melendrez was arrested on Mendenhall Loop Road for theft and violating conditions of release. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Violating Conditions of Release

At 3:26 p.m. on Friday, a woman was arrested in the Juneau area for violating conditions of release and unlawful contact. She was taken to LCCC.

At 6:10 p.m. on Friday, 46-year-old Theodore Lauth was cited and released on Glacier Highway for trespass and violating conditions of release.

Warrant Arrest

At 7:59 p.m. on Friday, Richard Mascasaet was arrested on Lemon Creek Road on a $250 warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of petition to revoke probation. He was taken to LCCC.
