Attempt to Serve

At 1:04 p.m. on Sunday, 40-year-old Rooney Terrel Hasselquist was arrested on a JPD warrant and was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Burglary

At 3:25 a.m. on Monday, Juneau Police Department responded to a burglary alarm on Stephen Richards Memorial Drive and found evidence of a possible burglary.

Death

At 12:19 a.m. on Monday, JPD conducted an investigation into the death of a 46-year-old man. The death is not considered to be suspicious and next of kin has been notified.

Driving While Intoxicated

At 12:21 a.m. on Monday, 32-year-old Meghan Forrey was arrested on Fish Creek Road for driving while intoxicated and was taken to LCCC. The vehicle she was driving was impounded.

Suspicious Activity

At 9:31 a.m. on Monday, JPD conducted an investigation into a possible bike theft on Hermit Street. The bike was later recovered and returned.

Theft

At 8:07 p.m. on Sunday, 34-year-old Thadius Nayamin was arrested on Willoughby Avenue for larceny and was later released. It was determined that alcohol was involved in this case.

At 9:37 a.m. on Monday, an 85-year-old woman reported a possibly stolen Subaru in the Juneau area. It was later determined that the vehicle was not stolen.

Traffic Stop

At 1:57 p.m. on Sunday, 51-year-old Jeremy Steven Marvin was arrested on Glacier Highway for driving with a suspended license and was later released.

Trespassing

At 11:37 p.m. on Monday, 42-year-old Stephen Brower was arrested on Willoughby Avenue for criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. He was taken to LCCC.
