Assault

At 12:06 a.m. on Tuesday, a 57-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence- assault and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Driving while intoxicated

At 9:50 p.m. on Monday, 26-year-old James George Brouillette III was arrested for driving under the influence in the 1200 block of Harbor Way and taken to LCCC. Alcohol was a factor.

Lost/found

At 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, construction tools were turned in to JPD for safekeeping.

Motor vehicle crash

At 12:23 p.m. on Monday, JPD responded to a motor vehicle crash that resulted in an injury in the 100 block of Franklin Street.

At 5:31 p.m. on Monday, a 58-year-old woman driving a 2002 Ford SUV was cited after striking a 2013 Volkswagen SUV driven by a 45-year-old woman on the 1800 block of Douglas Highway.

Theft

At 9:58 a.m. on Tuesday, a 40-year-old man reported the theft of construction tools from the 3400 block of Clinton Drive.

At 10:48 a.m. on Tuesday, a 77-year-old man reported the theft of a canoe from the 4500 block of Dredge Lake Road.

Traffic stop

At 8:30 p.m. on Monday, 26-year-old Joshua Jerome Willis was cited and released for driving without a valid license and not having an interlock device in the 1800 block of Northwood Drive.

Trespassing

At 4:28 p.m. on Monday, 52-year-old Christine Anne Robidoux was cited and released for trespass and violating conditions of release on the 6000 block of Montgomery Street.

Vandalism

At 9:44 p.m. on Monday, JPD responded to a report of vandalism in the 5800 block of Churchill Way.

At 11:40 p.m. on Monday, a 40-year-old man reported vandalism to his vehicle on Egan Drive.

Vehicle theft

At 11:12 a.m. on Tuesday, a 42-year-old woman reported her Toyota pickup truck was stolen from the 300 block of Cordova Street. It was later recovered and returned.

Warrant arrest

At 5:48 a.m. on Tuesday, 22-year-old Derrick Mitchell Vonda-Chase was arrested on an Alaska State Troopers warrant on the 200 block of Village Street and taken to LCCC.

At 11:32 a.m. on Tuesday, Patrick Kauwila Kane Jr. was served a Sitka Police Department warrant in the 2000 block of Lemon Creek Road.
