Assault

At 6:47 a.m. on Wednesday, 41-year-old Melody Mae Beierly was arrested for assault in the 700 block of Willoughby Avenue and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was a factor.

Conditions violation

At 7:32 a.m. on Wednesday, a 37-year-old man was arrested for violating conditions of release and unlawful contact and taken to LCCC. Alcohol was a factor.

Death

At 12:42 p.m. on Tuesday, JPD investigated the death of a 68-year-old woman in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway. The death is not considered suspicious and the next of kin has been notified.

Motor vehicle crash

At 4:32 p.m. on Tuesday, a 71-year-old woman reported her 2022 Chevy was struck by a 2008 Dodge driven by a 48-year-old man in the 88000 block of Egan Drive.

Theft

At 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, a 37-year-old woman reported her cellphone stolen in the 8700 block of Teal Street.

Traffic stop

At 10:40 p.m. on Tuesday, 33-year-old Brick Allan Engstrom was cited and released for driving without a valid license in the 8400 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.

Vandalism

At 3:33 p.m. on Tuesday, a 66-year-old woman reported her tires were slashed in the 1600 block of Douglas Highway.

At 9:11 p.m. on Tuesday, a 72-year-old woman reported a window on her back door was shattered, possibly by a BB gun, in the 5800 block of Mountain Avenue. JPD is investigating.

Warrant arrest

At 8:43 a.m. on Wednesday, 31-year-old Koby Blake was arrested on a JPD warrant in the 8700 block of Teal Street.
