Police calls for Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022

Assault

At 7:25 a.m. on Friday, a 36-year-old woman was arrested for domestic violence- assault and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

At 3 p.m. on Friday, Juneau Police Department responded to an altercation between the 59-year-old man and other residents in the area around the 19400 block of Beardsley Way.

At 7:55 p.m. on Friday, a 73-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence- fear assault and taken to LCCC.

At 11:09 a.m. on Saturday, JPD responded to a report that a 49-year-old woman had been assaulted.

Child abuse/neglect

At 6:25 p.m. on Saturday, JPD investigated a report of child neglect.

Conditions violation

At 1:03 p.m. on Thursday, a 39-year-old. man was arrested. for unlawful contact and violation of conditions of release and taken to LCCC.

At 8:16 p.m. on Friday, a 21-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence- criminal mischief and violating conditions of release and taken to LCCC.

Death

At 12:04 p.m. on Friday, JPD investigated the death of a 44-year-old man in the 200 block of Franklin Street. The circumstances aren’t considered suspicious and next of kin has been notified.

Disabled vehicle

At 12:22 a.m. on Friday, a 2007 PT Cruiser in the 11200 block of Mendenhall Loop Road was impounded for safekeeping.

Driving while intoxicated

At 9:20 p.m. on Friday, 61-year-old Alan Nicholas Fisher was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 11800 block of Glacier Highway and taken to LCCC. The vehicle he was driving was impounded. Alcohol was a factor.

Motor vehicle crash

At 8:47 p.m. on Thursday, a 2017 Ford was involved in a single vehicle crash with minor damage on the 6200 block of Alaway Avenue.

Shoplift

At 6:43 p.m. on Thursday, a 38-year-old reported that someone shoplifted from a business and fled the area in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue.

Traffic stop

At 12:37 a.m. on Saturday, 40-year-old Jimmie Dale Hosiner Jr. was arrested for violating conditions of release and driving with a suspended license on the 3700 block of Lee Street. The vehicle he was driving was released to a licensed driver.

Trespassing

At 7:49 p.m. on Thursday, 70-year-old Michael Earl Mann was arrested for criminal trespass, resisting arrest and violating conditions of release in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue and taken to LCCC.

At 7:23 p.m. on Friday, 70-year-old Michael Earl Mann was arrested for criminal trespass and violating conditions of release on the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue and taken to LCCC.

Warrant arrest

At 3:32 p.m. on Thursday, 31-year-old Johnathan Curtis Anderson was arrested on an Alaska State Troopers warrant and for a warrant from the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office in California and was taken to LCCC. Alcohol was a factor.

At 3:10 p.m. on Saturday, 39-year-old Justin Wayne Ridinger was arrested for a JPD warrant on the 200 block of Marine Way and taken to LCCC.
