Assault

At 7:06 p.m. on Thursday, a 42-year-old woman was arrested for domestic violence- assault and violating conditions of release and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was a factor.

At 7:03 a.m. on Sunday, a 38-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence- assault and taken to LCCC.

Conditions violation

At 4:31 p.m. on Thursday, Juneau Police Department investigated a report that a 60-year-old man had violated his conditions of release in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue. Alcohol was a factor.

At 11:50 a.m. on Saturday, a 70-year-old woman reported a 33-year-old man violated conditions of release in the 8800 block of Gail Avenue.

Death

At 5:06 p.m. on Thursday, JPD investigated the death of a 64-year-old man in the 8500 block of Steep Place. The death is not considered suspicious and the next of kin has been notified.

Driving while intoxicated

At 9:42 p.m. on Thursday, 37-year-old Malik Karam-Oko was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 11800 block of Glacier Highway and taken to LCCC. The vehicle he was driving was impounded. Alcohol was a factor.

At 7:38 p.m. on Friday, 26-year-old Aaron Artmon Mercer was arrested for driving while under the influence, driving without a valid license and reckless driving in the 9200 block of Glacier Highway and taken to LCCC. The vehicle he was driving was impounded. Alcohol was a factor.

At 12:35 a.m. on Saturday, 44-year-old Shawn Lawrence Calhoon was arrested for driving while intoxicated on the 100 block of Front Street and taken to LCCC. The vehicle he was driving was impounded. Alcohol was a factor.

Drug activity

At 1:36 p.m. on Friday, JPD investigated a report of drug activity.

At 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, JPD documented the destruction of drugs in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive.

Domestic dispute

At 10:16 p.m. in Thursday, JPD investigated a report of a possible domestic dispute between a 30-year-old man and a 54-year-old man. Alcohol was a factor.

At 2:01 p.m. on Saturday, a 38-year-old woman reported a domestic dispute with a 38-year-old man.

Harassment

At 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, a 37-year-old woman reported being harassed by a 77-year-old man in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

Motor vehicle crash

At 2:25 p.m. on Thursday, JPD investigated a single-vehicle accident on the 3200 block of Mendenhall Loop Road and cited an 18-year-old for basic speed.

At 5:08 p.m. on Friday, a 2003 GMC driven by a 59-year-old man was struck by a 2007 Hyundai van driven by a 47-year-old woman in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway. The 47-year-old woman was cited for failure to exercise due care.

At 7 p.m. on Friday, JPD responded to a report of a hit-and-run that damaged a local business in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue.

Sex crime

At 9:45 a.m. on Friday, JPD investigated a report of a sexual assault.

Shoplifting

At 7:47 p.m. on Saturday, a 59-year-old man reported a 30-year-old man trespassed and shoplifted from a local business in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

Trespassing

At 2:51 p.m. on Saturday, 58-year-old Anthony Walter Williams was cited and released for criminal trespass in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road. Alcohol was a factor.

Warrant arrest

At 12:21 p.m. on Thursday, 45-year-old Charles Alan High was arrested for a JPD warrant in the 2000 block of Lemon Creek Road and taken to LCCC.
