Conditions violation

At 5:39 p.m. on Monday, Juneau Police Department responded to a report of a conditions violation.

Domestic dispute

At 9:03 a.m. on Tuesday, a 28-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence- criminal mischief and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Driving while intoxicated

At 7:50 p.m. on Monday, 61-year-old Michael Scott Whitney was arrested for driving under the influence in the 9800 block of Glacier Highway and taken to LCCC. Alcohol was a factor.

At 8:50 p.m. on Monday, 35-year-old Gideon Troy Merchant was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 800 block of 12th Street and taken to LCCC. Alcohol was a factor.

Fraud

At 1:53 p.m. on Monday, JPD received a report of fraud.

Motor vehicle crash

At 7:02 p.m. on Monday, a 35-year-old woman was cited for failure to yield after striking a bicyclist in the 9200 block of Glacier Highway. The bicyclist, a 43-year-old woman, was transported to Bartlett Regional Hospital.

At 9:14 a.m. on Tuesday, a 58-year-old woman reported a hit and run in the 700 block of 12th Street.

At 9:22 a.m. on Tuesday, JPD responded to a single-vehicle crash in the 11700 block of Glacier Highway.

Sex crime

At 9:06 p.m. on Monday, JPD investigated a report of sexual abuse of a minor.

Shoplift

At 12:50 p.m. on Monday, a 58-year-old man reported that a 31-year-old man shoplifted from a local business in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

Warrant arrest

At 6:04 p.m. on Monday, 38-year-old George Strom was arrested on a JPD warrant in the 2200 block of Crow Hill Drive and taken to LCCC.
