Numbers come from reports from the City and Borough of Juneau Emergency Operations Center and the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services, as well as updates from the Alaska Coronavirus Response Hub and City and Borough of Juneau COVID-19 Dashboard. The city recently changed information provided in its weekday updates because of the strain placed on the Division of Public Health by the uptick in local cases.

New cases: 79 residents, 1 nonresidents

Test positivity rate: 4%

Cumulative cases: 2,324 residents, 271 nonresidents

Current hospitalizations: 4

New deaths: 0

Cumulative deaths: 8 residents

Vaccination information: 85.5% of Juneau’s eligible population ( 73.3% overall) has received a first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, and 80.9% of Juneau’s eligible population ( 69.4% overall) have completed a full vaccination series.

New cases: 2,059 residents, 89 nonresidents

Test positivity rate: 8.07%

Cumulative cases: 88,658 residents and 4,132 nonresidents

Current hospitalizations: 187

New deaths: 2

Cumulative deaths: 437 residents, 13 nonresidents.

Vaccination information: 61.3% of Alaska’s eligible population (51.1% overall) has received a first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, and 55.7% of eligible Alaskans ( 46.4% overall) have completed a full vaccination series.
