Numbers come from reports from the City and Borough of Juneau Emergency Operations Center and the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services, as well as updates from the Alaska Coronavirus Response Hub and City and Borough of Juneau COVID-19 Dashboard. The city recently changed information provided in its weekday updates because of the strain placed on the Division of Public Health by the uptick in local cases.

New cases: 47 residents, 1 nonresidents

Test positivity rate: 5%

Cumulative cases: 2,103 residents, 252 nonresidents

New deaths: 0

Cumulative deaths: 8 residents

Vaccination information: 83.3% of Juneau’s eligible population ( 71.4% overall) has received a first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, and 78.7% of Juneau’s eligible population (67.6% overall) have completed a full vaccination series.

Test positivity rate: 7.27%

Cumulative cases: 83,991 residents and 3,917 nonresidents

Cumulative deaths: 427 residents, 11 nonresidents

Vaccination information: 60.6% of Alaska’s eligible population ( 50.5% overall) has received a first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, and 54.9% of eligible Alaskans (45.7% overall) have completed a full vaccination series.
