Assault

At 4:37 p.m. on Thursday, 43-year-old Jerald Jake Hinchman was cited and released for assault on the 2000 block of Skaters Cabin Road.

At 6:37 p.m. on Friday, Juneau Police Department made a case for a possible assault in the 700 block of Ninth Street.

Child abuse/neglect

At 7:02 p.m. on Friday, JPD investigated a report of child abuse.

Disabled vehicle

At 8:51 a.m. on Friday, a 1991 Toyota on Old Dairy Road was impounded.

Driving while intoxicated

At 2:46 a.m. on Saturday, 39-year-old Orion Eclipse Fenner was arrested for driving while under the influence and for hit-and-run involving another vehicle on Egan Drive and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was a factor.

At 3:22 a.m. on Saturday, 34-year-old Shawn Michael Frost was cited and released for driving under the influence in the 16900 block of Glacier Highway. Alcohol was a factor.

Drug Activity

At 3:51 p.m. on Thursday, JPD created a confidential case for drug activity.

Lost/found

At 3:28 p.m. on Thursday, JPD recovered a wallet in the 3400 block of Clinton Drive.

At 2:41 p.m. on Friday, a brown wallet found on Engineers Cutoff Road was turned in for safekeeping.

At 2:55 p.m. on Friday, a black wallet found in the 11000 block of Glacier Highway and turned in for safekeeping.

Sex crime

At 8:36 a.m. on Friday, JPD investigated a report of a sexual assault.

Traffic stop

At 7:40 p.m. on Thursday, 29-year-old Clifford White was cited and released for driving without a valid license in the 900 block of Tenth Street and the vehicle he was driving was impounded.

At 12:48 p.m. on Friday, 57-year-old Stephen William Howard was cited and released for driving without a license on the 8500 block of Steep Place and the vehicle he was driving was impounded.

At 11:09 p.m. on Friday, 31-year-old Victoria Michelle Shorty was cited and released for driving without a valid license in the 4000 block of Vintage Boulevard.

Trespassing

At 1:38 p.m. on Thursday, JPD responded to a report of someone trespassing in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

At 2:43 p.m. on Thursday, 69-year-old Michael Earl Mann was cited and released for criminal trespass in the 3000 block of Clinton Drive.
