Update: Overdue woman home safe

Juneau Police Department said in a social media post that a woman who was overdue from a walk that started Saturday morning was found and returned to her residence.

As of 9 p.m., Karen Harris was home safe, according to JPD.

In a social media post shared at 6:49 p.m. labeled “Overdue Adult-Basin Road,” Juneau Police Department encouraged anyone who had seen Harris to contact police or Alaska State Troopers. Police said Harris had left for a walk on Basin Road around 10 a.m. Saturday.
